Downtown Hostel - Split

downtown surprised me with its central location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. the new air conditioning in the private room made my stay even more comfortable. highly recommended for a great time in split.

Laundry pricing was a ripoff.

The hostel had a great location right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore and access dining options. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the area. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common washroom was well-maintained. I also appreciated the availability of a blowdryer, which was a nice touch.

The noise level, especially if you are a light sleeper. The bars downstairs stayed loud until late at night, which may not be ideal for those who prefer a quieter environment.

The staff was friendly and helpful, providing useful recommendations for local attractions and dining options. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the comfortable beds in the dorm room. it was a pleasant stay.

There were a couple of drawbacks. The noise from nearby bars and clubs could be quite loud at night, making it a bit difficult to sleep.

Stayed at a fantastic value hotel in the center of the old town. The room was more like a hotel room with a big bed, modern private bathroom, and a spectacular view of the clock tower. The staff at Downtown were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, providing a list of affordable restaurants in the area. The rooms were spacious with individual lights and power plugs. There was also a common area to relax and a balcony. a great experience in an unbeatable location.

The location of this hostel is perfect, being in the center of the city. It is just a short walk from the local bus station, making it convenient for exploring the area. the hostel is also situated in a relatively quiet area, ensuring a peaceful stay. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with amenities such as plugs, shelves, and lights. the staff is friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service.

The kitchen is not well-maintained, with dirty surfaces and outdated equipment.

It was conveniently close to the bus station and ferry port, making it easy for me to explore the area. The facilities were clean, and I really appreciated the spacious rooms and lockers. The A/C unit kept the room nice and cold, which was perfect during the warm summer days.

One downside for me was that the hostel wasn't very sociable. There were no group activities or incentives for interaction among the guests.

I stayed at the Downtown Hostel in Split for a few nights and it was perfect for exploring Diocletian's palace. The single room was spacious and had great air conditioning. The cleanliness and comfort were impressive, and the bathroom was huge. The location was ideal with plenty of food options, bars, and shopping nearby. Despite being in the center, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The ferry port was within walking distance, making day trips convenient.

As a solo traveler, I stayed at Downtown for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The hostel was clean and the hospitality from Marko and the staff was top-notch. They provided helpful information on things to do and allowed me to extend my check-out time. The comfortable beds, spacious lockers, and safe atmosphere made me feel at ease. I also loved the small terrace overlooking vibrant bars and restaurants for some enjoyable people-watching. a very pleased and satisfying stay.

The value for money at Downtown Hostel was very nice. The room was clean and well-equipped, with spacious storage and individual lights and power plugs for each guest.
